Patio Installation In Alveston
This patio installation in Alveston started with a simple drawing from the customer showing us exactly what they wanted from their new patio. From there, our team at Olly Landscapes talked them through the different paving options, quoted the work and made a few small changes along the way as the design came together.
The customer chose an amazing Raj Green porcelain for their new outdoor space. This paving material has the appearance and variation of natural stone, but with the clean lines, easy maintenance and modern finish you get from porcelain.
For the steps, we used bullnose finishes on the exposed edges to create a softer, more refined look. We also carefully adjusted the levels, using a gentle fall to create a smooth transition from the new patio into the lawn.
Once we’d finished the patio installation, the client seeded the lawn themselves. Hopefully, by this time next year, the lawn will be fully established, and we can return for progress photos.
This patio installation seemed a fairly simple project on paper, but required careful consideration of paving, garden levels and the finishing details to make a big difference. Following our work, the finished patio now provides a smart, practical space that sits naturally within the wider garden.
